Northumberland has a character all its own: dramatic castles, sweeping beaches, proud towns and a county flag that is instantly recognisable. A present that celebrates this corner of England can therefore feel far more personal than an ordinary off-the-shelf gift.

This Northumberland gift guide brings together ten live teddy-bear designs from Big Red Egg. The selection ranges from county-wide slogans and flag designs to playful tributes to Bedlington, Ashington, Bamburgh, Tweedmouth and Dunstanburgh Castle.

Each bear is a seated 20 cm brown plush teddy wearing a printed white T-shirt. That shared format makes it easy to choose according to the words, place or design that will mean the most to the recipient.

Whether you are buying for a birthday, Christmas, a homecoming or simply to remind somebody of a favourite Northumberland place, these cheerful choices offer plenty of local personality.
